Job summary

First Meridian Services, Inc. is seeking a Server Assistant to support the Southern Steak and Oyster team at the Nashville airport operation. You will help greet and seat guests, assist servers, deliver food and beverages, and help keep dining areas clean and organized.

This role offers starting pay of $14 per hour plus tips, with dental, vision, and health options after eligibility. You’ll work a dynamic schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced hospitality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Basic understanding of kitchen safety and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests’ tables in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
• Assist servers with delivering beverages, condiments, and additional items as requested by guests.
• Clear and reset tables efficiently to ensure a clean, organized dining area.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service during peak times.
• Provide friendly and attentive customer service, addressing guest inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.
• Adhere to health and safety standards, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
• Assist in opening and closing duties, including setup and breakdown of dining areas.
