Job summary

Avflight Services Knoxville - Alcoa is seeking a customer service oriented airport agent to assist passengers and charter clients, handle tickets, baggage, and reservations, and ensure smooth transitions through the terminal.

The role requires excellent communication, ability to work varied shifts including nights and weekends, and the stamina to lift up to 50 lbs, comply with security checks, and perform duties outdoors in all weather.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with passengers and team members.
• Must read and write English; bilingualism is a plus.
• Able to work under time constraints and varied shifts.
• High school diploma or GED required; background check and drug test.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient, friendly service to customers and passengers.
• Arrange itineraries, issue tickets, refunds, and manage baggage charges.
• Assist with reservations, standby, luggage, and in-flight supplies.
• Guide passengers between terminal and aircraft for safe movement.
• Load/unload cargo, transport between terminals and aircraft.
• Perform cabin/interior cleaning and operate ground equipment as needed.
• Comply with safety and security procedures; work outdoors in all weather.
