City of Chicago is seeking a Construction Coordinator, BX17, to oversee construction and repair project activities at O'Hare International Airport. You will coordinate in-house trades, contractors, and airport partners, review work orders, and communicate schedules to ensure minimal disruption to operations.

The role requires five years of construction coordination experience with supervisory responsibility and a valid Illinois driver's license.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience managing and coordinating construction operations, with two (2) years in supervision.
• Or Associate's degree plus three (3) years, with two (2) years supervision.
• Or Bachelor's degree or higher plus one (1) year, with two (2) years supervision.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and schedule contract maintenance/repair projects at O'Hare.
• Coordinate with in-house trades, contractors, and airport partners.
• Review work orders and clarify scope and contractor schedules.
• Conduct site visits and assess impact on airport operations.
• Prepare reports on maintenance project status.
