Job summary

Montel Technologies LLC seeks an experienced BIM/RevIt Design Coordinator for an immediate project at O'Hare International Airport in Chicago. This is a 9-month contract with potential to transition to full-time based on performance and needs.

The role requires ownership of BIM tasks, strong coordination with architects, engineers, and BHS teams, and on-site verification as needed. Airport/rail/large-scale multi-discipline experience is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Strong Autodesk Revit experience with the ability to actively work within the model and assist with drawing and package development.
• Strong Revizto experience for clash detection, issue tracking, model review, and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Working knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and BIM workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own BIM, design, and coordination tasks for the project and move them forward with the team.
• Review BHS models and drawings for clashes, constructability, access, and coordination issues.
• Coordinate directly with architects, engineers, contractors, BHS teams and other disciplines to resolve design conflicts.
• Support on-site surveys, field verification, existing-condition documentation, and project coordination as needed.

Montel Technologies is seeking an experienced BIM / Revit Design Coordinator for an immediate project opportunity at O'Hare International Airport in Chicago.

This is a 9-month contract opportunity with the potential to transition into a full-time position based on performance, project needs, and future opportunities.

Location: O'Hare International Airport - Chicago, IL

Requirement: Must reside in Cook County for the duration of the project

Duration: Approximately 9 months

Potential: Opportunity for full-time employment

What We Need

We are looking for someone who can take ownership of assigned BIM, design, and coordination tasks and independently move them forward with our project team.

Required experience includes:

• Strong Autodesk Revit experience with the ability to actively work within the model and assist with drawing and package development.
• Strong Revizto experience for clash detection, issue tracking, model review, and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Working knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and BIM workflows.
• Ability to review Baggage Handling System (BHS) models and drawings for clashes, constructability, maintenance access, equipment access, spatial conflicts, and multidisciplinary coordination issues.
• Ability to develop or assist with preliminary BHS design concepts as changes, requests, and field conditions arise.
• Ability to coordinate directly with architects, engineers, contractors, BHS teams, and other disciplines to identify and resolve design conflicts.
• Ability to support on-site surveys, field verification, existing-condition documentation, and project coordination as necessary.

We need a self-directed professional who can get things done.

You should be comfortable receiving a specific design or coordination assignment, understanding the objective, investigating the issue, working within the BIM environment, coordinating with the appropriate disciplines, and driving the task toward resolution.

Experience with airports, baggage handling systems, transportation infrastructure, major construction projects, or complex multidisciplinary programs is highly desirable.
