Job summary

Avis Budget Group is seeking a seasoned Construction Professional to oversee architectural and engineering services for airport-related projects. You will lead projects, coordinate with operations and design teams, and manage budgets, schedules, and regulatory compliance.

Role requires strong communication, stakeholder management, and the ability to drive projects from scoping through closeout across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 5–10 years of practical commercial construction and design project management experience.
• Extensive knowledge of construction activities and professional roles in the industry.
• Excellent communication and social skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational and analytical ability; manage multiple 3rd party teams.
• Up to 40% travel.

Responsibilities

• Directs and manages construction, renovation, and facility projects to deliver on time and within budget.
• Collaborates with Operations to define functional requirements and translate into scopes of work.
• Coordinates with Design & Construction to implement design standards and branding.
• Prepares detailed cost estimates to support budgeting and approvals.
• Oversees design development and construction documentation for permitting and bidding.
• Represents the organization in meetings with airports, landlords, and municipal authorities.
• Manages consultants, contractors, vendors, and building officials for compliant delivery.
• Administers construction contracts, issues change orders, and tracks progress.
• Conducts property condition assessments and advises on improvements pre-lease.
• Coordinates with Corporate Design & Construction staff on agreements and procurement.
• Reviews invoices and ensures proper documentation and payment schedules.
