Job summary

American Airlines is seeking a Compliance Coordinator to ensure stations meet Local, Federal, and Corporate mandates. You will maintain records, investigate discrepancies, and interface with regulatory agencies and internal experts.

The role covers Dangerous Goods, hazardous waste, and various regulatory areas to protect assets and safety. You will work within the Airports organization’s compliance team, collaborating with leadership and teams to uphold standards and resolve issues promptly

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; leadership and coaching experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; customer service experience is a plus.
• Ability to work varying hours and shifts to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure stations meet Local, Federal, and Corporate mandates and regulations.
• Maintain detailed records and escalate issues to leadership or HQ as needed.
• Investigate irregularities and interface with regulatory agencies and SMEs.
• Oversee Dangerous Goods, hazardous waste handling, and OSHA regulations.
• Coordinate compliance reviews and address identified concerns.
