Job summary

Trego-Dugan Aviation Inc. seeks a Manager-on-Duty to lead frontline supervisory personnel across the gateway operations. You will monitor staffing, ensure customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance, and coordinate with air carriers and management to maintain safe, efficient service.

Qualifications

• Requires 2 years of hands-on experience in cargo, distribution, logistics, airline or similar industry.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License; must obtain Ground Security Coordinator certificate within 90 days of hire.
• Knowledge of FAA/TSA security directives and cargo ramp operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, directs, and participates in warehouse and cargo ramp handling services to cover all positions and meet operational requirements.
• Directs and trains assigned agents; conducts new employee training and ongoing safety training; maintains training records.
• Implements department policy for operations; advises management on policy issues and efficiency improvements.
• Coordinates service activities with air carrier personnel, gateway management, and regulatory representatives as required.
• Participates in operation and training of equipment (k-loaders, belt loaders, carts, etc.); ensures equipment is maintained.
• Ensures compliance with FAA and TSA safety regulations and other directives; attends meetings as needed.
• Maintains emergency checklists and supplies; prepares verbal and written reports on service activities.
• Updates MUFIDS; coordinates communications between airport, airline dispatch, and flight crew.
• Handles additional duties including operational recaps, daily reporting, audits, inventory, and timekeeping data corrections.
• Completes all required training and reports safety hazards immediately.
