Job summary

The City of Atlanta is seeking a BIM Coordinator to lead coordination of multi-disciplinary models for airport projects, ensuring ISO 19650-aligned workflows and data integrity.

Under the BIM Manager, you will manage clash detection, 4D/5D visualization, and ACC administration, guiding designers and contractors toward a single source of truth.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's in a related field and at least five years in BIM/VDC roles, with strong Autodesk tool proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or comparable field.
• Minimum of five (5) years experience in BIM/VDC roles (Aviation, Healthcare, or Data Centers).
• Experience with cloud-based collaboration tools and data management.
• Familiarity with construction project management processes and software.

Responsibilities

• Provide Technical Coordination and Clash Management.
• Aggregate architectural, structural, MEP-FP, and specialized airport systems into a master federated model.
• Lead rigorous clash detection cycles and facilitate real-world spatial problem solving between trades.
• Use VDC to support 4D (scheduling) and 5D (cost) workflows to visualize construction sequencing.
• Audit models for adherence to ATL naming conventions, data requirements, and LOD 300-400 specs.
• Verify that as-built conditions are reflected for integration into facilities management.
• Ensure Model Health and prevent data corruption.
• Act as the primary technical POC for Designers and General Contractors.
• Administer Autodesk Construction Cloud environment for Single Source of Truth.
