Job summary

Metropolis Technologies is seeking a Baggage Supervisor to oversee the baggage handling operation at an airport facility in Phoenix and ensure that passenger assistance consistently meets high standards.

You will lead a team, manage incident reporting, and collaborate with airline partners and airport staff while maintaining a safety- and service-oriented mindset. The role requires lifting up to 75 lbs, badge eligibility, and strong communication with customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to clear a background and drug screen.
• At least one year of supervisory experience.
• Airline experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and push a loaded wheelchair up to 300 lbs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to obtain an airport badge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise the baggage handling operation
• Complete any necessary incident reports
• Maintain a friendly and positive attitude and be attentive to each passenger’s needs; assist with problems, questions, or concerns
• Maintain professional relationships with fellow employees, managers, airline employees, and airport authorities
• Exceed customer service standards
• Carry out other duties as assigned
