Job summary

SP+ (a Metropolis Company) is hiring a Baggage Supervisor at the Pittsburgh airport complex. The role oversees the baggage handling operation, ensures passenger assistance exceeds expectations, and may assist with moving luggage at the check-in counter.

A strong emphasis on safety, security, and courteous service drives daily activities. Qualified applicants will have supervisory experience, be able to pass background and drug screens, and be able to obtain an airport badge.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must clear a background and drug screen.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and push a loaded wheelchair up to 300 lbs.
• Able to obtain an airport badge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee baggage handling operations at an airport facility.
• Complete incident reports as needed.
• Maintain a friendly, professional attitude and assist passengers with questions or concerns.
• Build professional relationships with colleagues, airline staff, and airport authorities.
• Exceed customer service standards and carry out other duties as assigned.
