Transdev North America in Columbus, Ohio, at Columbus Airport, is hiring a Part-Time Baggage Handler to oversee on-road service, assist passengers, and load/unload baggage from the bus. The role emphasizes safety and customer service. Shifts include 1st, 2nd and 3rd, with weekend work required.

This position can lead to full-time. Requirements include a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, ADA knowledge, and the ability to lift at least 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Technical degree preferred.
• ADA knowledge.
• 2 years customer service experience.
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal skills, email, and phone skills.
• Excellent customer service skills & problem solving skills.
• Ability to lift minimum of 50 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Oversees on-road service by tracking trip performance measures, route began on time, performance, incidents, etc.
• Provides customer support by responding to questions/concerns regarding schedules, lost items, timing, and general service challenges. Assists passengers in need, and with loading/unloading of baggage from the bus.
• Assists in emergency situations for vehicle operators, act as liaison between drivers, management, and emergency services.
• Reconcile physical passenger counts and electronic count from the bus systems if equipped.
• Other duties as assigned by General Manager or Direct Supervisor
