Job summary

SkyWest Airlines is seeking airport agents to deliver exceptional customer service, ticketing, rebooking, and boarding assistance. The role involves handling luggage, guiding passengers, and ensuring smooth operations across varying shifts in all weather conditions.

Positions may be part-time or full-time, with starting pay at $20 per hour. Ideal candidates are at least 18, have a valid driver’s license, and can pass background checks and drug screenings.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid, unrestricted, state-issued driver’s license.
• Have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Pass a background check and drug screening.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Basic knowledge of fundamental computer programs for record-keeping and baggage routing.
• Lift 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Adaptability to changing priorities and effective time management skills.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload customer luggage, airfreight, and company mail onto and off aircraft.
• Greet passengers, issue tickets, provide seat assignments, check baggage, board flights, assist customers who arrive without their luggage, and rebook passengers, all in a prompt and friendly manner.
• Escort passengers and customers with special needs safely and courteously.
• Marshal aircraft in and out of the ramp area.
• This position requires you to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Service aircraft as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
