SkyWest Airlines is seeking part-time airport agents in Rock Springs, WY. You will handle ticketing, boarding, baggage, and rebooking, while delivering friendly service to passengers on a variety of flights.

The role requires outdoor work in all weather, physical capability to lift 50 pounds, and flexibility to cover early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Training will be provided, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Formación

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid, unrestricted driver's license.
• Have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Pass a background check and drug screening.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Flexible schedule, including split shifts and varying times.
• This is a part-time position.
• Lift 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Basic knowledge of fundamental computer programs for record-keeping and baggage routing.

Responsabilidades

• Load/unload customer luggage, airfreight, and company mail onto and off of aircraft.
• Greet passengers, issue tickets, provide seat assignments, check baggage, board flights, assist customers with missing luggage, and rebook passengers.
• Escort passengers and customers with special needs safely and courteously.
• Marshal aircraft in and out of the ramp area.
• Work outside in all weather conditions.
• Service aircraft as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Primary Job Duties

Airport agents are primarily responsible for ensuring excellent customer service while performing a variety of tasks, including but not limited to, ticketing and rebooking passengers, boarding flights, assisting passengers with special needs, resolving customer concerns, and more.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload customer luggage, airfreight, and company mail onto and off of aircraft
• Greet passengers, issue tickets, provide seat assignments, check baggage, board flights, assist customers who arrive without their luggage, and rebook passengers, all in a prompt and friendly manner
• Escort passengers and customers with special needs safely and courteously
• Marshal aircraft in and out of the ramp area
• This position requires you to work outside in all weather conditions
• Service aircraft as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• Possess a valid, unrestricted, state-issued driver's license
• Have a High School Diploma or GED

• Adaptability to changing priorities and effective time management skills
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• This position requires a flexible schedule, including split shifts that may occur during early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• This is a part-time position
• $14.50 per hour

Physical And Other Requirements

• Applicants should be prepared for 24-30 hours of training per week during the first 8-10 weeks. After training, schedules will typically range from 8-20 hours per week based on operational needs.
