Job summary

SkyWest Airlines in Natchez, MS is hiring part-time airport agents who deliver excellent customer service. You will ticket, rebook passengers, greet and assist travelers, check baggage, board flights, and handle special needs with professionalism.

This outdoor role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work in all weather, and tolerate a flexible schedule including early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays. Compensation starts at $14.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Possess a valid, unrestricted driver's license.
• Have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Pass a background check and drug screening.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Basic knowledge of fundamental computer programs for record-keeping and baggage routing.
• Lift 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Adaptability to changing priorities and effective time management.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Flexible schedule, including split shifts (early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, holidays).
• This is a part-time position.
• $14.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Load and unload customer luggage, airfreight, and company mail onto and off aircraft.
• Greet passengers, issue tickets, provide seat assignments, check baggage, board flights, assist customers who arrive without their luggage, and rebook passengers, all in a prompt and friendly manner.
• Escort passengers and customers with special needs safely and courteously.
• Marshal aircraft in and out of the ramp area.
• This position requires you to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Service aircraft as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Primary Job Duties

Airport agents are primarily responsible for ensuring excellent customer service while performing a variety of tasks, including, but not limited to ticketing and rebooking passengers, boarding flights, assisting passengers with special needs, resolving customer concerns, and more.
