Job summary

SkyWest Airlines is seeking a part-time Airport Customer Service Agent to support ticketing, boarding, rebooking, and passenger assistance. The role involves lifting luggage, handling airfreight, and working in all weather conditions on the ramp.

The job requires a valid driver's license, a HS diploma or GED, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays. Pay is $14.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Possess a valid, unrestricted, state-issued driver’s license
• Have a High School Diploma or GED
• Pass a background check and drug screening
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Basic knowledge of fundamental computer programs for record-keeping and baggage routing
• Lift 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Adaptability to changing priorities and effective time management skills
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• This position requires a flexible schedule, including split shifts that may occur during early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• This is a part-time position
• $14.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Load and unload customer luggage, airfreight, and company mail onto and off aircraft
• Greet passengers, issue tickets, provide seat assignments, check baggage, board flights, assist customers who arrive without their luggage, and rebook passengers, all in a prompt and friendly manner
• Escort passengers and customers with special needs safely and courteously
• Marshal aircraft in and out of the ramp area
• This position requires you to work outside in all weather conditions
• Service aircraft as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Primary Job Duties

Airport agents are primarily responsible for ensuring excellent customer service while performing a variety of tasks, including, but not limited to ticketing and rebooking passengers, boarding flights, assisting passengers with special needs, resolving customer concerns, and more.
