Job summary

SkyWest Airlines is seeking airport agents to deliver exceptional customer service, handle ticketing and rebooking, and assist passengers across various on‑airport tasks.

These roles require working outdoors in all weather, lifting baggage, and flexibility with shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. SkyWest offers employee benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid, unrestricted state-issued driver's license.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Lift 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Flexible schedule including split shifts, early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload luggage, airfreight and mail to/from aircraft.
• Greet passengers, issue tickets, assign seats, check baggage and rebook passengers.
• Escort passengers with special needs and assist in boarding.
• Marshal aircraft on/ off ramp.
• Work outside in all weather conditions.
• Service aircraft as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Primary Job Duties

Airport agents are primarily responsible for ensuring excellent customer service while performing a variety of tasks, including, but not limited to ticketing and rebooking passengers, boarding flights, assisting passengers with special needs, resolving customer concerns, and more.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload customer luggage, airfreight, and company mail onto and off aircraft
• Greet passengers, issue tickets, provide seat assignments, check baggage, board flights, assist customers who arrive without their luggage, and rebook passengers, all in a prompt and friendly manner
• Escort passengers and customers with special needs safely and courteously
• Marshal aircraft in and out of the ramp area
• This position requires you to work outside in all weather conditions
• Service aircraft as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• Possess a valid, unrestricted, state-issued driver’s license
• Have a High School Diploma or GED
• Pass a background check and drug screening
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Basic knowledge of fundamental computer programs for record-keeping and baggage routing
• Lift 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Adaptability to changing priorities and effective time management skills
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• This position requires a flexible schedule, including split shifts that may occur during early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Part-time and full-time positions may be available
• Starting at $20 per hour
