Job summary

SkyWest Airlines is seeking part-time airport agents to deliver excellent customer service, ticketing, and boarding assistance in a fast-paced, outdoor environment. You will work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, in a team-based setting to support passengers and flights.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, the ability to lift 50 pounds, pass a background check and drug screen, and eligibility to work in the United States without

Responsibilities

• Load and unload luggage, airfreight, and company mail onto/off aircraft.

• Escort passengers with special needs safely and courteously.
• Marshal aircraft on the ramp area.
• Service aircraft as needed and handle routine tasks.

Primary Job Duties

Airport agents are primarily responsible for ensuring excellent customer service while performing a variety of tasks, including, but not limited to ticketing and rebooking passengers, boarding flights, assisting passengers with special needs, resolving customer concerns, and more.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload customer luggage, airfreight, and company mail onto and off aircraft
• Greet passengers, issue tickets, provide seat assignments, check baggage, board flights, assist customers who arrive without their luggage, and rebook passengers, all in a prompt and friendly manner
• Escort passengers and customers with special needs safely and courteously
• Marshal aircraft in and out of the ramp area
• This position requires you to work outside in all weather conditions
• Service aircraft as needed
• Other duties as assigned
• 18 years of age or older
• Possess a valid, unrestricted, state-issued driver’s license
• Have a High School Diploma or GED
• Pass a background check and drug screening
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Basic knowledge of fundamental computer programs for record-keeping and baggage routing
• Lift 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Adaptability to changing priorities and effective time management skills
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• This position requires a flexible schedule, including split shifts that may occur during early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• This is a part-time position
• $16 per hour
