Job summary

Magnifica Air is seeking a senior Project Manager to lead the launch of a groundbreaking airline program in Orlando. You will own the end-to-end coordination of timelines, budgets and regulatory approvals to ensure readiness for commercial operations.

You will work with senior leadership to guide cross-functional teams, manage risks, and deliver a high-impact project that shapes the future of air travel. This role requires strong strategic planning and stakeholder management across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Engineering, Business, Project Management or related field
• PMP/PRINCE2 certification preferred; aviation qualifications highly desirable
• 8–10+ years of project management experience leading large, complex aviation or transportation programs
• Previous airline startup, airline operations, airport development or aviation consulting experience preferred; experience managing aircraft deliveries is highly desirable

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all aspects of the airline startup, ensuring operational, regulatory, technical, commercial and organizational milestones are delivered
• Maintain the overall project plan, managing timelines, milestones, budgets and critical paths; coordinate cross-functional activities and report progress to executive management
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies, ensuring on-time delivery of multiple concurrent projects and presenting progress to senior management and investors
• Coordinate regulatory and certification activities, liaising with aviation authorities and supporting manuals, policies and procedures; manage audits to ensure compliance
• Develop and manage the Operational Readiness Plan, coordinating activities across all departments to achieve readiness by the planned launch date
• Manage vendor and stakeholder relationships, ensuring contractual deliverables are met and supporting the commercial launch including route planning, reservation system implementation, and customer service alignment
