Job summary

Join Sodexo as an Airline Lounge Server in Los Angeles, delivering efficient and attentive service to guests in the lounge. You will greet guests, present menus, take orders accurately, and ensure a smooth dining experience across made-to-order entrées, appetizers, and beverages.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 0 to 1 year related experience.
• Must be at or over the minimum age to serve alcohol based on local city and state regulations.
• May require a valid alcohol-service certification (TIPS/TEAM or equivalent) and must comply with state-specific training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests, present menus, and introduce specials or menu changes.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on meals, beverages, and wine, and answer questions about allergens and preparation.
• Accurately take and relay orders to the kitchen, confirm orders with guests, and process them in the correct sequence.
• Check all items for quality and completeness, ensuring presentations are attractive and consistent.
• Monitor guest needs, respond to requests, and address concerns or complaints professionally.
• Significant walking or other means of mobility and ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
