Job summary

Sodexo is hiring an Airline Lounge Server at the American Express Lounge in JFK. You will deliver attentive service, present Sodexo’s menu, and ensure guests have a seamless dining experience in a lounge setting.

The role requires flexibility with shifts and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods; prior food service experience and alcohol-service certification may be required depending on location.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 0 to 1 year related experience.
• Must comply with alcohol-service requirements (TIPS/TEAM or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests, present menus, and introduce specials or menu changes.
• Provide recommendations on meals, beverages, and wine, and answer questions about menu items and allergens.
• Take and relay orders to the kitchen and confirm orders with guests.
• Ensure quality and attractive presentation of items.
• Address guest requests and concerns with professionalism.
