Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Ground Support Equipment (AGE/GSE) mechanic to perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on AGE/GSE and tow vehicles. You will interpret technical manuals and use test equipment to ensure serviceability and proper operation.

The role requires 3+ years of AGE/GSE maintenance, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain a security clearance. Domestic and international travel may be required; the position is hourly and benefits eligible.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of AGE/GSE maintenance experience.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and be able to operate a government general-purpose vehicle.
• Position may require domestic and international travel.
• Position will require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.

Mansioni

• Maintains Aviation Support Equipment (AvSE).
• Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on AGE/GSE, inspects, tests, and operates AGE/GSE to determine equipment serviceability and proper operation.
• Disassembles and assembles malfunctioning AGE/GSE accessories and components, removes, disassembles repairs, cleans, treats for corrosion, assembles, and reinstalls AGE/GSE components and accessories.
• Stores, handles, labels, uses, and disposes of hazardous materials and waste per regulations.
• Prepares AGE/GSE for storage and mobility deployment; supports aircraft maintenance and flying operations.
