Job summary

Envoy Air Inc. is hiring an Automotive/Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Mechanic in Abilene, TX. The role involves performing maintenance on GSE and related automotive equipment, troubleshooting and repairing tugs, belt loaders, power units, and company vehicles.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, relevant trade certification, and the ability to work rotating shifts while meeting safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or International equivalent.
• Automotive Service Technician certification, or similar.
• Commercial Transport Mechanic or Heavy Duty Mechanic certification preferred.
• 12 months' experience in one or more of the maintenance trades.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance assignments on automotive and GSE equipment.
• Maintain equipment such as aircraft tugs, tow tractors, belt loaders, power units, and company vehicles.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, disassemble, repair, replace, fabricate, assemble, install and adjust equipment and parts.
