SkyChefs in Philadelphia, USA seeks a Food Production Manager to lead a multi-shift team in a fast-paced airline catering operation. You will drive food safety, efficiency, and service excellence while controlling labor budgets and ensuring compliance.

This role reports to the Director of Operations near PHLAirport and offers competitive base salary, annual incentive, 401(k) match, PTO, tuition reimbursement, and daily meals. Bring 3–5 years of leadership in high-volume production.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on leadership in food production.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication and team-building skills.
• Knowledge of FDA, HACCP, GMP and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with VPS or similar tools is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team of cooks and supervisors.
• Plan and manage daily hours, schedules, productivity, quality and safety.
• Oversee all food production activities and ensure smooth operation.
• Ensure compliance with customer specs and FDA/HACCP regulations.
• Manage budgets, inventory, scheduling and productivity.
• Collaborate with airline clients to ensure service and presentation.
• Participate in leadership briefings and drive performance improvement.
