Job summary

Air Ambulance Professionals, Inc. is seeking an Emergency Flight Physician in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

The role focuses on evaluating, coordinating, and delivering medical care during air transport, while ensuring compliance with state regulations and the transport team's scope of practice. You will work with the medical team to provide continuous care, secure patient records, and maintain readiness for departures and handoffs to receiving physicians.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Anesthesiology or Trauma Surgical care.
• Current certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP and Advanced Trauma course.
• Florida State license and/or Arizona State License (depending upon home base location)
• Current Passport.
• Proficient on Microsoft Suite including word processing.
• Ability to understand and adhere to established policies, procedures, and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, coordinate and deliver medical care during air transport.
• Coordinate care with transport team and maintain 45-minute readiness before wheels.
• Perform head-to-toe patient assessments and document findings.
• Safeguard medical records and HIPAA compliance.
• Complete debriefings and medical records upon release of the patient.
