Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering with 4+ years (bs) or 2+ years (ms) demonstrated experience.
• Backgrounds in Mechanical, Aeronautical/Aerospace or Structural Engineering.
• MRB experience and materials knowledge.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings with emphasis on composites and airframe integration.
• LEAN manufacturing methodologies experience.
• Experience with composite, metallic and additive parts and assemblies.
• GD&T ANSI Y-14.5M knowledge.
• CREO Parametric or NX (or similar CAD) proficiency.
• Ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret Clearance is desired.
• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and brief CRs/CNs at Change Control Board (CCB).
• Provide dispositions for nonconforming parts as MRB engineer.
• Coordinate with Airframe Integrity, Material & Process, Manufacturing, and Quality groups.
• Identify root causes and independently resolve engineering issues.
• Support production floor with clear engineering drawing intent.
• Provide technical instructions via redlines in prototyping environments.
• Document findings and present results to engineering staff.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with laws and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned; on-site Poway support required.
