Job summary

Under limited supervision, you will analyze production issues, coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to meet delivery dates, and help resolve complex manufacturing challenges. Independent judgment and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, planning or related discipline with five or more years of progressive planning/scheduling experience.
• Must demonstrate extensive understanding of planning and production operation theories and principles.
• Ability to organize, schedule, conduct, and coordinate work assignments to meet milestones or deadlines.
• Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Process parts and purchase requisitions promptly in the system.
• Maintain frequent contact with critical subcontractors and vendors to meet delivery dates.
• Analyze engineering specifications and drawings and coordinate across functions to share technical information.
• Coordinate and monitor design development by visiting manufacturing, quality, planning, engineering and other departments.
• Advise management on status and potential production issues and resolve scheduling conflicts.
