Job summary

You will lead CR/CN activities, provide MRB input for nonconforming parts, and coordinate with multiple engineering groups to resolve complex issues on site. The role requires advanced engineering degrees and substantial leadership experience, with on‑site duties at product manufacturing and integration sites in Poway.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, master's or PhD in engineering or related field with progressive engineering experience.
• Experience in mechanical, aeronautical, aerospace or structural engineering preferred.
• Management experience leading an engineering/manufacturing team is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Leads a 3–4 person liaison engineering team for GA-ASI platforms.
• Generates and adjudicates Change Requests and Change Notifications for drawings and specs.
• briefs CR/CN to Change Control Board stakeholders.
• Acts as MRB engineer for nonconforming parts and resolves issues with cross‑functional teams.
• Coordinates with Airframe Integrity, Materials & Process, Manufacturing and Quality groups.
• Identify root causes and independently drive resolution for engineering/manufacturing problems.
• Collaborate with production on drawing intents and provide mentorship to staff.
• Support management with departmental activity execution and training.
