Job summary

BRYANT in Milwaukee is seeking experienced individuals to join our growing team. We manufacture high-quality conveyor components including rollers, bearings, pulleys and universal joints for a wide range of industries.

In this role you will follow work instructions, set up tooling, operate band saws and oxyacetylene processes, and inspect parts using gauges. Training is provided and safety is a priority in our shop.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret measurements and drawings.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Experience with basic machining or fabrication preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow work instructions to cut and shape tubing and spin tapers, and finish parts as required.
• Program and set up tooling for machines.
• Deburr material and check tolerances with gauges.
• Maintain all equipment in good operating condition.
• Clock into jobs in the ERP system.
• Check tolerances and accuracy with supplied gauges and complete inspection reports.
• Forward spun parts to the next operation.
• Fill out scrap reports and keep area neat.

JOB DUTIES

• Follow work instructions, routing and print to spin tapers and complex shapes out of straight tubing
• Program and set up tooling for machines
• Deburr Material
• Maintain all equipment in good operating condition
• Clock into jobs in the ERP system
• Check tolerances and accuracy with supplied gauges and complete provided inspection reports
• Forward spun parts to the next operation
• Fill out scrap reports
• Keep work area neat at all times
• Perform all responsibilities safely and in adherence to company policy
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/QUALIFICATION

• Occasional use of oxyacetylene torch (will provide training)
• Use of Jib crane (will provide training)
• Horizontal band saw operation (will provide training)
• Ability to use and read tape measure and other measuring devices
