Job summary

BRYANT in Alabama is seeking experienced individuals to join our growing team. The role involves following work instructions, routing and printing to spin tapers and complex shapes from straight tubing, programming and setting up tooling, deburring, and maintaining equipment.

You will clock into ERP, check tolerances, forward spun parts, and complete inspection reports, while keeping the work area neat and safe.

Qualifications

• Experience reading tape measures and using measuring tools.
• Oxyacetylene torch use training provided.
• Crane operation and band saw use training provided.

Responsibilities

• Follow work instructions, routing and print to spin tapers and complex shapes out of straight tubing.
• Program and set up tooling for machines.
• Deburr material.
• Maintain all equipment in good operating condition.
• Clock into jobs in the ERP system.
• Check tolerances and accuracy with supplied gauges and complete provided inspection reports.
• Forward spun parts to the next operation.
• Fill out scrap reports.
• Keep work area neat at all times.
• Perform all responsibilities safely and in adherence to company policy.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Use of Jib crane (will provide training)
• Horizontal band saw operation (will provide training)
• Ability to use and read tape measure and other measuring devices
