Job summary

Controlled Environmental Systems (CES) seeks a technically inclined Sales Engineer to support airflow control systems. You will maintain product knowledge and close sales requiring technical fit for customer needs.

Responsibilities include building long-term relationships with contractors, owners, and engineers, generating leads, negotiating prices, and guiding projects through to completion. Travel to sites is expected as part of EQ requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent training and experience.
  • 2+ years HVAC commercial service or related field.
  • Strong sales aptitude; previous sales experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; customer service focus.
  • Willingness to continue sales and engineering education.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell product lines by developing relationships with contractors, building owners, and consulting engineers.
  • Generate high-quality sales leads, follow up after initial contact, secure orders, and execute projects.
  • Develop airflow control system solutions considering financial and performance aspects.
  • Research, develop, and modify solutions to meet customers' technical requirements.
  • Support installation and project execution for sold equipment.
  • Maintain accurate customer information and leads in Salesforce CRM.
  • Participate in industry activities such as trade shows and trainings.
  • Take part in sales training programs (Sandler Selling Method).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
