Job summary

City of Loveland at Northern Colorado Regional Airport (FNL) in Loveland, CO is seeking an Airport Operations Technician to maintain safe, compliant airfield operations and support 24/7 readiness.

You will perform daily airfield inspections, respond to incidents, and ensure regulatory compliance while coordinating with FAA, ATC, inspectors, and tenants. Requires weekend on-call coverage and TSA background checks. Salary ranges from $25.42–$34.32 per hour with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• 2 Years/Associated Degree in aviation or related field.
• Preferred: 4 Years/Bachelor's Degree in aviation or related field.
• Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may substitute for education requirements on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document daily airfield inspections under FAA Part 139 regulations.
• Maintain compliance with airfield safety, operational, and security standards.
• Respond to airfield incidents, irregular operations, and emergencies.
• Operate aviation radios and support 24/7 airport communications.
• Assist with airport security compliance after training.
• Monitor weather and NOTAMS to ensure safe operations.
