Job summary

Aims Community College is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician II to perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance at the Northern Colorado Regional Airport, Loveland, CO. The role emphasizes safety, airworthiness, and compliance with federal regulations.

The successful candidate will hold an FAA A&P certificate (or obtain within 12 months) and bring at least one year of aviation maintenance experience, with benefits including immediate coverage and a 4-day summer schedule.

Qualifications

• One year of operational general aviation aircraft maintenance experience or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
• Must hold and maintain FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate (or obtain within 12 months).
• Pre-employment post-offer urine analysis and physical evaluation are required.
• Candidate must be able to travel using a company vehicle and pass an MVR.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft inspections per manuals and FARs.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair airframe, powerplant, electrical, and avionics systems.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and logbook entries.
• Assist with hangar and ground support equipment maintenance and safety compliance.
