Job description

The Springfield-Branson National Airport is seeking candidates interested in ensuring the safety of pilots, passengers, and the community during travel.

The Airfield Maintenance Worker will perform general maintenance on the airport's airfield, runways, grounds, and equipment. Responsibilities include mowing, electrical work, painting, and general maintenance. The position requires working in all weather conditions and being available for emergency call-ins.

Experience, Education, and Training

• Two years of experience in construction or general maintenance of commercial grounds and facilities, including mowing, dirt work, sidewalk and asphalt/concrete repairs.

AND

• Experience operating light to medium construction equipment and vehicles.

Licensing/Certification

• Valid Driver's License.
• Must obtain and maintain a Class "B" Commercial Driver's License with air brakes.

Preferred

• Certified Public Operator Pesticide License, Category 3.
