Job summary

Kids for the Future seeks an Airport Maintenance Technician to support daily operations at San Angelo Regional Airport. You will conduct airfield inspections, perform repairs to lighting, signs, pavement, and maintain equipment in compliance with FAR Part 139 and the Airport Certification Manual.

The role requires a high school diploma, Texas driver's license, and willingness to work 40 hours weekly, including holidays, nights, or weekends. Prior airport maintenance experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Texas driver license with clean record required.
• Pass a 10-year Criminal History Records Check and Security Threat Assessment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily airfield inspections to meet FAR Part 139 compliance.
• Repair or replace airfield lighting, signs, and pavement as needed.
• Recommend necessary equipment and material purchases.
• Assist with wildlife management per FAR Part 139 regulations.
• Support Airport Security Plan compliance under 14 CFR 1540/1542.
