Job summary

Accura Engineering seeks a Construction Inspector for Aviation/Airport projects in Atlanta, GA. The role involves detailed inspections on complex airport construction, reviewing plans, ensuring code compliance, safety, and material testing coordination.

You will mentor junior inspectors, document findings, and communicate with management, contractors, and airport personnel. Travel to sites and occasional extended hours are required.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively with teams, clients and vendors.
• Experience inspecting multiple disciplines and materials.
• Ability to read plans, specs and codes and apply them on site.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction inspections on airport projects and ensure compliance.
• Review contractor work and material certifications for quality.
• Record observations and document non-conformities.
• Coordinate field testing of construction materials and safety procedures.
• Review pay applications and contractor quality control plans.
• Mentor junior inspection staff and communicate with stakeholders.
• Maintain project documentation and site records.
