Job summary

BlueForce Inc. is seeking candidates with Aircrew Scheduling experience to support Bomber Squadron Operations at multiple locations within AFGSC, including Ellsworth AFB, SD. Position is subject to contract award.

The role requires coordinating with training officers and leadership to ensure proper scheduling, currency, and progression of aircrew and support personnel, while maintaining data in PEX and other systems.

Qualifications

• US citizenship and active security clearance required.
• Minimum two years experience as a squadron aircrew scheduler.
• Experience with scheduling programs (PEX or similar).
• Knowledge of DoD and US Air Force policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with training officers, Aviation Resource Management offices, Unit Deployment Manager, and Operations Officer to arrange schedules for training, currency, and progression.
• Build long and short-range schedules to ensure full coverage of aircrew, instructor, evaluator, support personnel, and supervisor positions.
• Coordinate with leadership on a daily/weekly basis to facilitate flying operations.
• Track leaves, TDY, medical appointments, and other commitments to deconflict crews for sorties.
• Update data in Patriot Excalibur (PEX) or future systems; publish scheduling data for training events.
• Schedule aircrews based on experience to mitigate Operational Risk Management.
• Provide inputs to Wing Scheduling and update daily schedules to leadership.
• Correlate sortie length and airspace requirements with syllabus requirements.
• Attend Weekly/Monthly meetings for schedule coordination and deconfliction.
