Job summary

LMR Technical Group is recruiting a Cognitive Performance Specialist (CPS) to support active-duty mobility aircrews at Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina. You will apply cognitive performance principles to help aircrews stay mentally sharp, physically durable, and mission-ready in demanding flight environments.

The role requires a Master’s degree in psychology or related field, CMPC certification, 5+ years of cognitive-performance experience, and eligibility for a US Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology or related field with specialization.
• 5+ years cognitive performance experience in high-performance settings.
• CMPC - Certified Mental Performance Consultant certification.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain Secret clearance and work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Develop training programs using cognitive performance concepts for aircrews.
• Deliver briefings, educational sessions, and seminars.
• Use biofeedback and simulation tech to enhance performance during challenging operations.
• Develop and implement individualized programs for aircrew members.
• Integrate cognitive performance with physical fitness training.
• Prepare data and briefings for HP-MER reports.
• Attend staff meetings to review and improve human performance programming.
