Job description

As a Cirrus Authorized Service Center, our KOKV maintenance team focuses primarily on general aviation aircraft with reciprocating engines, with a significant emphasis on Cirrus Aircraft maintenance and support

This role is hands‑on and maintenance‑driven, ideal for technicians who enjoy GA work, owner‑flown aircraft, and in‑depth mechanical troubleshooting rather than heavy turbine or airline‑style environments.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on customer‑owned and transient general aviation aircraft, with the majority of work involving reciprocating engine platforms
  • Conduct pre‑flight and post‑flight inspections in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer technical data
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, avionics, and systems discrepancies
  • Remove, install, rig, and operationally check aircraft components and systems as required
  • Accurately complete maintenance documentation, logbook entries, and work orders in compliance with FAA and company standards
  • Work collaboratively with other technicians to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality maintenance outcomes
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety‑focused work environment
  • Support AOG and priority maintenance needs as required
  • Represent the company professionally when interacting with aircraft owners, pilots, and internal team members
Additional Information
  • This position is based at our KOKV facility, which operates as a Cirrus Service Center supporting a high volume of Cirrus aircraft maintenance.
  • Our maintenance team takes pride in delivering consistent, high‑quality work in a professional GA environment.
Compensation
  • Hourly pay range $25-$45 per hour, based on experience.
Qualifications / Skills
  • Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate with no violations
  • Strong experience with reciprocating engines; general aviation maintenance experience strongly preferred
  • Prior Cirrus Aircraft experience is highly desirable
  • Comfortable working in a Cirrus Service Center environment with high standards for quality, documentation, and customer service
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply manufacturer maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical data
  • Solid troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, avionics, hydraulic, and aircraft systems
  • Possesses a personal set of tools appropriate for general aviation aircraft maintenance
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Positive, team‑oriented attitude with clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and move throughout the hangar as required
  • Willingness to work varying shifts, weekends, holidays, on‑call, and standby as operationally required
  • Ability and willingness to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions

Ability and willingness to travel occasionally, if required
