Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. seeks an Aircraft Structures Rework Technician to join the Mobile Manufacturing Team.

The role involves non-standard rework, repairs, and logbook entries across Mobile FAL and Flight Line, using electrical, mechanical, or structural expertise and cross-competency training toward Delegated Inspector privileges. You will work autonomously on a team, support safety and quality standards, mentor others, and collaborate with engineering and production to define rework solutions

Qualifications

2 years minimum experience in aircraft systems and electrical rework or equivalent.
Completed vocational training (Mechanics/System/Avionics/Electrical).
High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

Perform non-standard electrical rework, wire changes, harness changes, electrical bonding, crimping, pinning, splicing, systems exchanges, component changes, painting, sealing, and troubleshooting.
Perform Self Inspections and Delegated Inspections in line with qualification profile and work orders.
Work autonomously in a team to meet Mobile FAL and Flight Line milestones and ensure safety, quality, and cost standards.
Document tasks per Airbus procedures and use SAP systems for sign-off and non-conformity reporting.
Provide mentorship and guidance to team members on production systems and safety processes.
