Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. in Mobile, Alabama is seeking an XPlant Electrical Rework Technician to join our Mobile Manufacturing Team.

This role participates in preparation for and execution of outstanding work from simple rework to complex repairs within electrical, mechanical, or structures domains. Required: 2 years minimum experience in aircraft systems and electrical rework; preferred vocational training in aircraft electrics/avionics and 5+ years in aviation.

Qualifications

• 2 years minimum experience in Aircraft systems and electrical rework.
• Completed vocational training in aircraft electrics, avionics and systems preferred.
• 5+ years hands-on experience in aviation industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-standard electrical system rework and wire changes per work orders.
• Conduct self inspections and delegated inspections as required by qualifications.
• Work autonomously in Mobile FAL to meet milestones and review procedures.
• Coordinate with engineering to define rework/repair solutions and review docs.
• Use standard/specialized tools and equipment (cranes, lifts) safely and effectively.
• Document tasks per Airbus procedures and participate in continuous improvement.
