Job summary

North State Aviation Holdings LLC is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to perform replacement and repair of aircraft structures and to ensure proper documentation of tasks performed.

The role requires education in aviation structures (A&P or equivalent), apprenticeship-level experience, strong mechanical and analytical abilities, and excellent English communication. Candidates must be safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and capable of working with maintenance manuals and blueprints.

Qualifications

• Education in aviation structures through programs including but not limited to A&P curriculum or other certified aircraft training programs such as military training.
• Experience ranging from apprenticeship level and above, depending on current business needs.
• Ability to read and follow complex instructions and diagrams (blueprints) and safely apply them in maintenance tasks.
• Commitment to safety, accuracy, and documentation in line with established maintenance manuals.

Responsibilities

• Replace parts and perform repairs on aircraft structures as required.
• Complete all paperwork related to assigned tasks accurately and timely.
• Provide task information to Lead Mechanic for shift turnovers and document on turnover forms.
• Notify Inspection when a task requires or becomes an RII action.
• Identify and segregate components during removal and ensure proper handling and accountability of tools.
• Perform tasks per job cards, engineering orders, and maintenance manuals.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
