Job summary

PAE Government Services Inc. is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic I (Sheetmetal/Structures) to repair, fabricate, and install aircraft structural components per manuals and blueprints. You will also balance blades, apply corrosion control, and perform final inspections on replacements.

The role requires three years aviation maintenance experience with two years in rotary-wing duties, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel. A&P license is optional; security clearance may be needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• U.S. military technical school or specialized training course is desired, certification of education level is required.
• Valid up-to-date A&P license (optional).
• MWO - Travel as needed.
• Three years aviation maintenance experience (two years rotary wing) and two years on the assigned MDS.
• All experience must be within the six most recent years.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Must provide own tools/toolbox.
• Ability to work day, swing, night, and/or weekend shifts as required.
• Passport eligibility and international travel for OCONUS work sites.
• Must obtain and maintain a NACI Public Trust clearance.
• US Citizenship for facility credentials/authorization.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and replaces aircraft structural components per drawings and manuals.
• Fabricates, modifies, and installs structural parts and skins.
• Balance rotary-wing blades and perform corrosion control.
• Perform final checks and records for replaced parts.
• Assist other aircraft technicians as needed.
