Job summary

Western Aircraft is seeking an Aircraft Structures Technician to inspect and repair aircraft structures per blueprint specifications. The role involves sheet metal work, measuring parts, and ensuring documentation and safety compliance in a hangar environment.

Qualified candidates typically have 3+ years of aviation experience repairing structures, the ability to read blueprints, and prefer airframe certification for advancement. Composite-material experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years’ aviation experience with small, mid to large cabin aircraft.
• Experience performing structural repairs and modifications.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with composite materials is a plus.
• Airframe Certification preferred for entry/mid; required for senior level positions.

Responsibilities

• Perform sheet metal and structural repairs and modifications on aircraft.
• Measure parts for defects or deviations using specialized equipment.
• Document maintenance, repair, and modification work thoroughly.
• Follow FAA and manufacturer specifications and safety procedures.
• Work independently or as part of a team, maintaining accuracy and adherence to tolerances.
