Northrop Grumman is hiring an Aircraft Structures Mechanic - Level 3 for the Clearfield, UT site to work on major assembly structures and subassemblies. The role emphasizes precise blueprint interpretation, depth of assembly knowledge, and strict quality standards on a weekday night shift (Mon-Thurs 4pm-2:30am).

The candidate should have a High School Diploma or GED with 4+ years in structures/composites in aerospace or related fields and must be able to obtain a U.S.

Qualificações

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED with 4+ years of structures/composites experience in aerospace, automotive, military, manufacturing or maintenance.
• Ability to perform physical work including bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting up to 35 pounds, and working at heights.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret level clearance and Special Program Access.
• U.S. Citizenship required for clearance.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Read and understand blueprints.
• Translate blueprints into fabrications of structural assemblies with precision drilling and countersinking.
• Align parts on jigs using templates and fixtures.
• Perform part-fitting operations including filing, sawing, burring, crimping, trimming, riveting, drilling and reaming.
• Measure parts with micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions.
• Modify assemblies to incorporate changes and verify quality per controlled procedures.
• Daily use of manufacturing shop controls and systems.
• Use appropriate PPE on the shop floor.
• Suggest and implement continuous improvement in production methods and equipment.
