Job summary

DST LLC is seeking an A&P Structures Mechanic to accurately repair and perform scheduled maintenance on all airplanes and perform inspections as required by the FAA.

The role involves structural modifications and repairs, using precision measuring equipment and hand tools to fabricate, assemble and install aircraft structural components, and working with engineering on design enhancements and productivity improvements. Travel CONUS and OCONUS may be required with full-time hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) years' experience in Structural Aircraft Maintenance and Modification.
• Aircraft movement experience.
• Extensive knowledge of all aircraft mechanical systems functions and interactions.
• Thorough working knowledge of FAA regulations, IPC and ATA codes.

Responsibilities

• Performs structural modifications and repairs to aircraft.
• Assist the shop with meeting schedule needs to make on-time delivery of the aircraft to support missions.
• Use precision measuring equipment and hand tools to fabricate, assemble and install aircraft structural components.
• Works effectively with engineering in recommending design enhancements and productivity improvements.
• Operates all required ground support equipment.
• Effectively troubleshoots and repairs all aircraft and customer systems.
• Prompt and regular attendance.
