Job summary

DST LLC seeks a skilled A&P Mechanic to repair and maintain aircraft, perform FAA-required inspections, and ensure on-time delivery for missions. The role requires strong knowledge of FAA regulations, IPC/ATA codes, and hands-on troubleshooting across mechanical systems.

Applicants should hold an Airframe and Powerplant Certificate and a high school diploma, plus at least 3 years of aircraft experience. Travel is required as needed for customer support and field tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Airframe and Powerplant Certificate.
• Minimum three (3) years’ of aircraft-related experience.
• Extensive knowledge of all aircraft mechanical systems functions and interactions.
• Thorough working knowledge of all current FAA regulations, IPC and ATA codes.

Responsibilities

• Fully analyzes all required blueprints, drawings, work orders and sketches to troubleshoot, repair and install desired product or part. Detects errors and corrects through proper departmental channels.
• Professionally trains and leads other employees in proper work techniques.
• Assist the shop with meeting schedule needs to make on-time delivery of the aircraft to support missions.
• Inspects all aircraft parts for damage, prior to installation.
• Works effectively with engineering in recommending design enhancements and productivity improvements.
• Operates and maintains all required ground support equipment.
• Effectively troubleshoots and repairs all aircraft and customer systems.
• Prompt and regular attendance.
