Job summary

A2G is seeking a Structures Mechanic to perform maintenance, repair, modification and inspection of aircraft structures to ensure airworthiness and safety. You will work under FAA-approved data and company procedures in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.

Required are a high school diploma, FAA Airframe (A) license, and at least four years of relevant experience, plus the ability to obtain a DoD clearance. The role may require travel and night shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years recent experience in aircraft structural repairs and modifications.
• Valid driver's license; ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screen.
• Active DoD Secret clearance or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform FAA-compliant maintenance and repairs per procedures.
• Ensure aircraft are flight-ready and safe to operate.
• Interpret schematics, drawings, and technical instructions.
• Assess material needs and required tools for the job.
• Use fabrication tools and precision measuring devices for shop calculations.
• Maintain awareness of FARs, procedures and industry standards.
• Keep technical knowledge up-to-date through training and experience.
• Document all work per FAA rules and company policy.
• Maintain tool accountability and report unserviceable tools.
• Fabricate and repair sheet metal per AMM/SRM and drawings.
• Comply with safety, environmental and housekeeping rules.
• Operate authorized vehicles as needed.
