Job summary

Boeing North Charleston, South Carolina, is seeking an Associate Structures Design Engineer (Level 2) to join the Aftbody Structures Life Cycle Product Team. You will develop, integrate and document structural requirements, create designs with CAD tools, and support tests, supplier activities and cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
2+ years engineering experience.
2+ years CAD tools experience.
Experience with aircraft structural design.

Responsibilities

Develops, integrates and documents primary and secondary structural requirements.
Develops and modifies basic structural designs using CAD tools to provide product definition.
Performs tests to validate that systems meet requirements and specifications.
Assists with supplier development, test and production activities and coordination to optimize design.
Supports investigation of emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs.
Collaborates and performs oversight on projects with partners/suppliers.
Works under general supervision and emphasizes Safety and First Pass Quality.
