Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Marietta, GA is seeking an experienced aircraft sheet metal assembler. You will assemble and mate structures with tooling, load jigs, and follow standard procedures to complete assemblies. You will lay out holes, trim lines, and install fittings per blueprints to meet specifications.

Qualifications

• Two years of aircraft sheet metal assembly experience or equivalent training.
• Ability to read and use aircraft detail and assembly blueprints.
• A&P license is a plus and may be required by some positions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and mate aircraft structures using jigs and tooling.
• Lay out rivet, bolt and fastener hole patterns from reference points.
• Drill, ream, and rivet components to specified tolerances; fit and install assemblies.
