Job summary

Adams Communication & Engineering Technology (ACET), Incorporated is seeking an Aircraft Structural Mechanic I to troubleshoot, repair, rebuild, and maintain aircraft structures and systems. The role requires reading detailed manuals, specialized tooling, and performing a range of flight inspections to ensure safety and airworthiness.

You will identify malfunctions, repair wings and fuselages, replace worn components, remove engines, and conduct engine/airframe servicing.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret manufacturers' manuals, airline maintenance manuals, service bulletins, engineering data.
• Specialize in repair, modification, and work of structural spare parts, assemblies, or engine repair.
• FAA A&P license may be required.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, gauges, and heavy machinery.

Responsibilities

• Identify malfunctions in aircraft structures, landing gear, flight surfaces/controls, anti-icing, pneudraulic, engines, APU, and ventilation/heating systems.
• Repair and rebuild critical structural components including wings and fuselages using rivet guns, drills, saws, sheet metal brakes, and welding equipment.
• Replace worn components and inspect, disassemble/reassemble engines, and perform engine removals.
• Perform 100-hour, progressive, isochronal, phase, periodic, preflight, thru-flight, and post-flight inspections.
• Enter accurate work descriptions into maintenance records and verify completion.
